The Montcalm at The Brewery

We stayed at this gem of a find last weekend whilst visiting London for a truly unique dining experience at Dans Le Noir (review to follow). Looking for a hotel within easy reach of the restaurant, i stumbled across the Montcalm at The Brewery and found a wonderful quirky hotel designed to embrace the heritage of its Brewery setting and offer an array of luxurious comforts for its guests. 

 

Originally a Whitbread Brewery, the hotel boasts a wonderful London corner pub, The Jugged Hare,  with gastro menu, superb wine cellar and a host of good local ales, as well as a selection of fitness facilities to satisfy all needs. 

 

The bedroom was spacious, beautifully furnished and boasted a generous mini bar with reasonable pricing. The rainfall shower was heavenly and add in the cosiest bathrobes i have ever experienced and it's safe to say this is a hotel i will be returning to in the not too distant future! 

 

Set within a tranquil part of London, mercifully devoid of mass tourism and boasting a great array of bars and restaurants - The Montcalm at The Brewery is one i would strongly recommend when visiting the capital.
